What is a dual motor bike, exactly?

We’re mighty glad you asked! It simply means ‘two motors’: one on the front and one on the rear wheel. The Mechanism boasts two of these 500 watt bad boys, making it the most powerful bike in the Vallkree range with 1000 watt max potential.

Compared to our single motor range, you’ll get twice the power, improved torque (that’s the twisting force that makes an engine rotate for acceleration), and better traction, all while gliding quietly with no noise and no emissions.

Comparable to a motorbike, The Mechanism combats off-road environments, giving the rider access to areas usually reserved for foot, mountain bikes or motorbikes, whether it’s tackling beach dunes, smashing hills or navigating uneasy terrain in style.

What’s so special about The Mechanism compared to other offroad bikes?

Well for starters (and we say this with a healthy dose of vanity), we look the best. Name a more beautiful offroad bike. We dare you.

With a second-to-none vintage design inspired by the 1920s board track racers, Vallkee’s head-turning aesthetic demands admiration from passersby and celebrities alike, with some serious big-name fans repping the bike. Secondly, the innovative engineering means you can turn off the second motor, alternating between one and two motors depending on your style of driving. Want to pedal more or take more care around corners and tight spaces? Switch to one motor. Want to glide over hills effortlessly and boost around uneasy terrain? Use both motors for amazing hill climbing capabilities.

We can’t forget to mention that The Mechanism is simply a simpler alternative to riding a motorbike. We call Vallkree bikes ‘freedom machines’ because they are incredibly fun and easy to use. What are the key tech specs?

The Mechanism boasts a long range Samsung 16AH Battery, Dual Front & Rear 500W motors totalling 1000W with a full charge distance of 30-50+ km, off road speeds of up to 40-50km/h and a single/double motor power change with the flick of a switch, a twin seat, twin headlight, passenger foot pegs and upside down suspension forks. Option to attach extras like surfboard racks.

Tell me a bit more about the design history?

Vallkree bikes blend the latest modern-day engineering technology with a 1920’s board track racer design, making for a stylish and exhilarating mode of transport. Board track racing was a type of motorsport popular in the United States during the 1910s and 1920s. Competition was conducted on circular or oval race courses with surfaces composed of wooden planks - hence the name ‘board track’ racer.

The Mechanism is legal to drive on private property and dedicated off-road tracks in Australia. Please check with your local council for site specific information.

How many styles of the dual motor do you have?

The dual motor range comes in three different styles: The Mechanism 26”, The Mechanism 24” and Dope Lemon 24". You can choose between seven striking colour options across the range including Matte Grey, Planet Green Matte, Desert Storm Matte, Very Black Matte and Silver and Dope Lemon.
